YOUTH CAN

Youth Council in Action for Nation (YOUTH CAN) is a not-for-profit, entirely youth run and youth-led organization legally registered under Nepal Government organization registration act 2034 at District Administrative Office, Rupandehi. It is a youth empowerment hub where youths take collaborative action locally to address the global issues. YOUTH CAN aims to encourage young people to lead, organize and explore through practical leadership experience and capacity building initiatives with a collaborative approach.

We believe that volunteering is the best practice that a youth can do to make a positive/sustainable social transformation.

VISION

YOUTH CAN envision a youth friendly society where they can lead, organize and explore diverse activities to contribute for nation building.

MISSION

YOUTH CAN strive to strengthen the capacity of youths by engaging them at diverse level with support from the stakeholders. YOUTH CAN aim to introduce sustainable change through youth leadership and volunteering practices.

OBJECTIVES

1. To form a common & safe space for youths to raise their voice to solve the existing issues.

2. To improve and encourage an inclusive environment for youth innovation and entrepreneurship that is in line with the objective of SDGs.

3. To organize capacity building programs, trainings and workshops to strengthen the capacity of youths.

4. To ensure youth's active participation on planning process and encourage them to take action from the grass-root level.

5. To introduce ample volunteering practices with support from the stakeholders.

6. To have the collaborative approaches by building diverse formal or informal groups of youths and youth organizations.

We believe young people are the most untapped resources, if provided safe spaces and opportunities to lead, organize & explore they can shift the nation. At YOUTH CAN we seek to form a common space for these young individuals to grow, to discover themselves and bring a sustainable impact in their community.

YOUTH FOR EARTH: We seek to ensure youth's active participation on planning process and encourage them to take action to mitigate the challenges relate to climate change.

YOUTH FOR EDUCATION: We strive to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning for all.

YOUTH FOR INNOVATION: We work to improve and encourage an inclusive environment for youth innovation and entrepreneurship that is in line with the objective of SDGs.

YOUTH FOR ADVOCACY & AWARENESS: We collaborate with diverse stakeholders to form a common & safe space for youths to raise their voice to solve the existing issues.
