YOUTH Social Empowerment Program kicks of on 13th July 2019 at Nepathya College, Rupandehi, Nepal. The program had the presence of Chair Person Mr. Ramu Pandey (Founder YOUTH CAN), dynamic trainers Mr. Ramesh Aryal (Trainer JCI Nepal) & Mr. Nigam Paudel (Founder Team NEPO), leaders Mr. Laxman Kharel & Ms. Prakriti Pokhrel, diplomatic representative Er. Sudip Aryal (Chief Province 5 & Gandaki) at UNDP Nepal, NGO representatives Ms. Pooza Karki, Mr. Prabhat Paudel and Binod Sapkota, business person and students. The program was composed of 3 different sessions followed by refreshment with live music to make the session much effective and engaging.
This program was designed to draw adequate youth's attention towards Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and aware them regarding their role in achieving it by 2030 through volunteering activities. Moreover the participants where also introduced to the "Public speaking & Leardership session" to empower them with basic tools for advocacy and taking action to mitigate the diverse social issues.
